CompTIA Certifications

CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, is a not-for-profit trade association that represents the converging computing and communications market. Working with subject matter experts and major technology companies, CompTIA develops vendor-neutral standards for technical, e-commerce, customer service, and workforce development certifications. Almost half a million people worldwide have earned CompTIA certifications.

The technical certifications that CompTIA sponsors serve to enhance and validate the skills of individuals working with PCs, networks, servers, and the Internet. Many of CompTIA certifications are electives or prerequisites toward advanced certifications, such as Microsoft's MCSA and Novell's CNE.
