Although it is possible to overclock many of the components of a computer (such
as the CPU, FSB frequency and video card), it is not possible to overclock some
components. For example, it is not possible to increase the read/write speed or
access time of a hard disk or CD-ROM drive. The only solution to improving the
performance of these components is to use faster components in the first place,
or in some special cases of hard disks, change the configuration to a RAID.
