A friend mailed me the link to the Javvin OS map(http://www.javvin.com/computer-operating-systems-os-map.html). I'm working with computers for over 20 years, starting with the Commodore VC-20. I had the most common systems, but know a lot of OS's which aren't known so well. I have made a list with a little description.  

I have a copy of your network security map, and I have come across something that I don't really understand.
The anti-virus and anti-phishing tools are located on the 7th OSI layer, while the anti-malware / adware tools are located at the 6th layer. Is there any background information available on why these tools are located at these specific layers?

The same question goes foor IDS/IPS.
