    Bravo, Dr. Randy Pauch!

July 25, 2008. Dr. Randy Pausch passed away today. He was a forever eacher for us all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Randy's family. I wish them all well, knowing that their loved one made a very positive impact in the lives of millions of people worldwide.

    ---------------------------

Did you watch the "Professor Randy Pausch's Last Lecture"? It is a great lecture about life! It was for 400 Carnegie Mellon students but millions are watching online now.

The 46-year-old Carnegie-Mellon professor Randy Pausch, a professor of computer science on human-machine interaction, delivered his final lecture, entitled 'How to Live Your Dreams' on Sept. 18, 2007. Pausch has terminal pancreatic cancer. The lecture is powerful and uplifting. He discussed how to fulfill your childhood dreams, and the lessons he had learned on his life's journey.

The following is a link that take you to his video and audio: http://bizzbangbuzz.blogspot.com/2007/09/last-lecture.html

As a Ph.D. graduate of Carnegie Mellon at the same year(1988) as Prof. Randy Pausch, I watched it with tears and lots of laughs too. It definitely touched my heart and soul. It is too bad I did not know him personally when I was in school.

A few most important things that I have learnt are:

    1. The walls in our life's journey: find a way to overcome.

    2. Let your imagination and heart to take you to where you are.

    3. Be a "Doctor" who helps people.

Thank you Dr. Randy Pausch and farewell.
