Microsoft Windows Vista Editions and Features

Windows Vista software comes in six different marketing editions. All editions support both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) processor architectures, except for Windows Vista Starter, which supports only 32-bit architectures. The six editions are: Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise and Ultimate. The Windows Vista Starter edition is only sold in the emerging markets. It has some hardware limitations. Windows Vista Enterprise is sold by Microsoft directly to enterprises with volume license.
